The CAN’s Holistic Approach to Maternal Health Care workgroup recently worked with the Data & Evaluation team at MCFH to conduct a comprehensive city-wide survey to identify opportunities for strengthening the doula workforce in Philadelphia, PA.

Newborns & Neighbors, a project that pairs people with trained perinatal peer support specialists, is looking for participants who recently had a baby or are more than 34 weeks pregnant.

The 2024 mini-grants were awarded to: Breastfeeding Empowerment and Awareness (BAE), BIPOC Birth Work Circle, Coco Life Foundation, Reclaim Black Motherhood, Mommy and Me Healthcare LLC, and Phoenix Rising Birth Works.
